Going Bananas Day Five - Big Big Party

I love parties! Today we heard that God has a Big Big Party in Heaven for us! Jesus tells us that heaven is like a Big Big House and a Big Big City where all of God's friends live and enjoy the best party ever! I cant wait to get to heaven! Its going to be so much fun! All of us thanked Jesus for inviting us to heaven, and told him that we want to be there.

Tom lead the Big Fun Game. It was so funny! Aaron and Joshua were blindfolded and had to taste lots of yucky food while King Scott watched! It was so funny! Captain Banana gave out prizes for 'Supersitters' and for the best fancy dress! Ripe and Rotten did the Big Big Shout! And Captain Banana invited us to the Going Bananas Family Service! Its on Sunday at 10am - cant wait!

Going Bananas Day Four - Big Big Rescue

Its such good news! Today we heard about God's Big Big Rescue! He sent his only Son Jesus into the world on a rescue mission. We were enemies of God because we said NO to him. But the good news is that Jesus died on the cross to rescue us from this. Jesus makes us friends with God by taking away our sin. How cool is that! Now we are friends with God and nothing can change that!

In our banana bunches, we made 'Face Plates' to remind us of God's Big Big Rescue. On one side, we painted a sad face remindg us that we were God's enemies. On the other side, we painted a happy face to remind us that because Jesus rescued us, we are now friends with God! We love Jesus for his wonderful rescue! He's our King!

Going Bananas Day Three - Big Big Hate

What a day! We had so much fun at Going Bananas today! We started by playing 'Captains Coming!' Then we rowed to Banana Island on board the H.M.S. Gigantic. Ripe and Rotten met us there and helped Sarah teach us a new song about our Captain Jesus!

We watch Hugh Mongous on the Big Big News, before Captain Banana and his friends told us the Big Big Story about Big Big Hate. Adam and Eve lived in a wonderful place called the Garden of Eden. They didnt listen to God! Instead they listened to the Snake! Because they said No to God, God threw them out of the Garden of Eden. God still loved them, and had a plan in place to make them his friends again. We will find out about this tomorrow at BIG BIG RESCUE!
